چکیده

Background: A single coronary artery (SCA) is a rare anomaly encountered using conventional angiography. right (RCA) originating from left anterior descending (LAD) subtype of SCA. Only few cases are described in published literature. Case presentation: We this 55-year-old male who presented with angina pectoris. The anomalous RCA was suspected by angiogram and confirmed computed tomography (CT) Using CT, we demonstrated the course abnormal vessel its relation to main vessel. also detected presence plaque, which caused luminal stenosis proximal LAD, may cause global ischaemia. Conclusion: concluded that although angiography an important diagnostic method, new non-invasive methods such as CT can be better screening tool detect characterise anomalies. Electronic Supplementary Materials Material 1: Coronary demonstrates LAD. 2: CTA shows originates mid-portion

Anomalous right coronary artery originating from the mid left anterior descending artery.

A 68-year-old male with a history of hypertension and hypercholesterolemia presented with recurrent episodes of chest discomfort. A 12-lead ECG and an echocardiogram were normal. A myocardial perfusion study could not rule out ischemia in the inferior wall. At coronary angiography using the transradial approach, the right coronary artery (RCA) could not be visualized. Angiography of the left co...

Double left anterior descending coronary artery originating from left main coronary stem and right coronary artery.

Double left anterior descending coronary artery originating from left main coronary stem and right coronary artery is a rare congenital coronary anomaly. In this case report, we are describing a patient with double left anterior descending coronary artery, one with normal origin, and the other originating from the right coronary artery. To the best of our knowledge, there are only a few reports...

anomalous origin of the right coronary artery from the midportion of the left anterior descending artery: a rare coronary anomaly

the anomalous origin of the right coronary artery (rca) as a branch from the left anterior descending artery (lad) is a very rare variation of the single coronary artery anomaly. the anomalous vessel arises from the proximal or midportion of the lad and courses anterior to the pulmonary artery trunk in most instances. in this case report, a 61-year-old woman is introduced who underwent coronary...
